So I've encountered some viruses , removed them , and now when I try to install anything , an error message will pop up , telling me that either I am running on safe mode or the installer is corrupted .
Problem is ,
- I'm not running on safe mode
- The installer's fine .

What could be the problem ?

I have no idea what caused this , but I think it has something to do with trojan viruses ?

Any help would be kindly appreciated .

I don't seem to have the OS reinstaller

You don't have the OS cd? Just insert the cd and perform the reinstallation.

You didn't remove all of the viruses, silly!

If you didn't already, run a super hard virus scan checking everything (with that antivirus you'd better have) and remove all threats.

If not that some hardware is ****ing up if not your OS. I hope you have a warranty.

@randize: I don't think many people get or keep the OS CD after getting a computer. I wouldn't be able to find one if this happened to me.
