I think he means FPS. There's no other popular FPS featuring everyone as super soldiers (crysis excluded, because it's multiplayer is forgettable).

hahahahahahhahhah I don't know whether you're just trolling or really worked up about this for some reason. I actually find the Halo online community a lot better at the game than most other online communities. Plus there's no character variation (as in nobody ever gets an advantage based on their level and there's no extra equipment or anything), so if someone is beating you, it's simply because they're downright better than you at the game, while in CoD i just get javelin'd by the level 70s and then if you survive that they have thermal vision m16s already on you before you can point your shitty ass starting gun at them and even then if you kill them they just use final stand and take you down even though you actually killed them.
Although now i have the javelin, thermal m16 and final stand so CoD's become a whole lot more fun.

I have to agree that Halo doesn't give the more seasoned player any advantages, while in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 there is no chance you'll take down an elite. But the game just isn't my type. call me a Cock of Duty faggot but the halo 3 community and how in matchmaking saying: "Hi guys, what's up?" you'll always have either some 12 or 20 year old scream shit at you that doesn't even make sense.

I don't know, going back to halo 3 after playing mw2 for a couple months, I still generally did pretty well at it, getting decent positive k/d spreads, even though I didn't have any crutches that you might get as a high level in cod. The game just felt sluggish to me, and though i thought it was still a pretty fun multiplayer experience, the fact that you can get shot for a second or more, then turn around and kill the other player is annoying to me. I guess I've just grown to like that aspect of CoD more, that if you see someone and they aren't aware of you, they'll probably get killed
and if you get killed by the javelin (which you unlock in the 50s I think, not 70?) in mw2 you're awful. That gun takes ages to fire, fly up high into the air, then fall back to whatever position you took a few seconds to lock onto. Unless you're talking about the glitch where people would just explode using that gun, which wouldn't really make sense in this situation, but sucks nonetheless.

Yeah, he's talking about the people that do suicide runs into people with it and wind up winning despite having over 40 deaths.

CoD: MW2's community is pretty much what Halo's 3 community was a couple of years back. This type of community put me off Halo 3, and it's put me off MW2.
I picked up CoD2 before I ever touched Halo. So straight away my take to FPS' online was an extremely ****ing great game. So Halo never saw much action from me, and when it did, I was constantly bashing it because it wasn't quite what I had grown to enjoy most.
I don't see how it's not a bad game, though.
Also, the "No advantage to better players" thing is pretty shitty. There is an advantage to knowing the quickest way to each weapon, and where each weapon is. If the better player knows that, and gets the weapon, there's little chance the lesser player will have a chance.
I, personally, think that the level-up system in First Person Shooters is great. Not only does it give players something to work for (Other than armour to make your character look pretty), it also gives every player a chance to get that weapon and use it how they want. It's much fairer than just hoping you get somewhere before somebody else.
