You would say that because you're too lazy to do anything besides drag dots around.
Get flash.

Believe me 2D Pivot is only marginally easier than flash. Getting good and pivot and getting good at flash requires roughly the same amount of effort. I know.

That amount of bullshit could probally drown the planet, be careful with what you spew.

Pivot is way easier then flash, as there's less stuff you need to worry about, there's way less effects and abilities to master, and the crappy method for making images, makes making highly detailed stuff nigh impossible. Because of the lack of freedom, you're doomed to continue the same god forsaken route of stick assasins, and sticks kicking balls.
While for flash, anything goes.

While flash has unlimited potential, (anyone can see that, dumbass or not) pivot helps you start thinking about how hard the art is..
and in a sense, if you want to start out only stick figure animating pivot ftw, if u want to go farther USE Flash by all means.

but thats all my opinion :P

Pivot is harder :/
What the **** are you guys smoking? Pivot is a lot harder than using flash even if you have a tablet that you can use to make aniamtions with flash.

The downsides is that pivot has boundaries. You will pretty much be doomed with having stick figure animations, bad animation quality, color distortion, and the works if you stick with pivot.

However, with flash, you can make better animations, learn full-body, have better image qualaty, and look 1000000000000x more professional.

Pivot is a lot harder, but free and easy for beginners to use as they try to grasp the basics of animation. Flash is more time consuming, and bottom line a better product.

If you want a good suggestion, use pivot for about 4 months, or until you're considered intermediate on a forum such as droidz or darkdemon, then switch over to flash. It will make you 10x better.
