What are some games you can't stand? Some that everybody else seems to like?
Right now for me it has to be Counter Strike Source. Just aiming in the game seems more like a "shoot and hope I hit" or "Spray and pray" rather than actually any skill. After playing COD: MW2 its just so bull shit.
Games you absolutely hate?

I never really understood how sports games are fun, personally.

I wanna be the guy.
Although after you get good at it, its fun. Until you find another ****ing part that takes 10 years to master.

i feel the absolute opposite about counter strike, people on there just seem to kill me so quick and all i do is spray and pray, but i still hate it because i can never have fun on it because im not very good
umm theres not a great deal of vidya games i dislike; what i dislike most about almost every single game is the people on there.

Well it's like, if you like sports, go outside. I like playing real sports, but sport games are so dull!

Counter Strike. What annoys me the most is how people always consider it a very realistic game, even though it's very, very far away from reality.

Counter strike. Its sometimes fun but all you do is kill and disable bombs. Nothing new.

that's the same answer every single anti-sports game person uses and it just shows they've never even played one to make such a stupid answer. you might as well tell us "why watch real sports when you can just play them?" it's not just about playing the sport. usually people who play games like madden already go outside and play sports themselves. that's the reason why sports games that have nothing but "practice and then play against another team" usually get bad reviews (coughNBALIVE09couch). people play sports games to play as their favorite athletes. when else would you be able to be involved in carmelo anthony shooting a three point shot in the final seconds of the game and then fouled in the process to get the chance to shoot the free throw winning the game? they play them for a chance to change reality. how else would you be able to cause the detroit lions to become Super Bowl 44 champions? isn't that what video games are for? changing reality, i.e. games like Call of Duty? i don't see why anyone would think otherwise just because its about sports
and with all that in mind, video games aren't just about doing things you couldn't normally do in real life. if that were the case, games like guitar hero and rock band wouldn't be so popular. lolol y play gitar hero wen u can jsut play reel gitar!!!!! :Dope:
with that in mind, i'm gonna go play some NBA 2k10 now because you're a doucheclown

WII ****ING SPORTS! I don't understand how so many people like it's so bad...

I don't much like sports games, but that's because once upon a time I played Madden 99 way too much and got tired of it. Tried picking up the Madden games again later on, never got into them. Then I started hating EA's bullshit strategy in the industry (Absorb the competition instead of trying to beat them, and make very few changes to your games), especially when DLC and console expansion packs came along, because now they have no excuse to make the same game again every year and only change the rosters and add a small feature or two.
There are a few gems, though. I enjoy Tecmo Bowl on the NES, and the early Tony Hawk series all the way to Underground was pretty cool.
But the games that I really do hate are the games that comprise this swampy mess of casual bullshit, these games released for the Wii and DS that take a month to develop and an hour to beat, but they still price them at full price to lure in casual kiddies and middle-aged housewives.
Oh, and movie tie-ins based on CG animated films. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has noticed that every time a CG animated film is released, a game is too. Wall-E, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, Up, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Goddammit, they all suck too.

Ditto with Ash, games based on CG games are pretty much horrible 100% of the time

Games I hate huh? well.....
shrek smash and crash racing.
crazy frog racer.
every single sonic the hedghog game exept the original ones.
including shadow the hedghog.
he-man.
medal of honor frontline (simply because of the shoddy camera movement making it difficult to shoot anyone even at point blank range but apart from that i guess it's an OK game).
all games based on movies (exept king kong for the ps2 that game is even BETTER than the movie)
and last but not least SSX on tour, because it takes soooooo long to get down the mountain and it just get's boring.
