That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. That's how I was with pivot and flash, but now I'm straight flash. I hate pivot.

Easytoon is used by some professional animators as drafts on animation projects. It is a useful program, that is according to Inkthinker.

Learn to quote.
In animating, the frames between major stances are referred to as in-betweens. Most good animators will sketch out the stances first and the in-betweens so they have an idea of what they're trying to do. These sketches are worse than things that ten year olds can come up with.

An easy example is Castle Crashers.
In this image, the first picture is Tom Fulps drawing of the painter boss, then Dan Paladins first sketch of a professional version of him, and then the final product-

The first sketch isn't good whatsoever, it just has to be clear enough to show what is going on.

Adam Philips animating a Brackenwood animation-

You can see his first sketches as a guideline, and then going over them in a professional matter.

So does it matter if anyone uses easytoon to do anything? It's a low quality animating program. The fact that professionals may use it changes nothing. If anything, it's a hell of a lot more time consuming for someone to rough out an animation in easytoon than in a program such as flash. Which means that they lost some time in their schedule, because animators work with deadlines.

I never asked what in-betweens are? I know that in-betweens are the frames that are inserted between the Key frames; or extremes. Easytoon is not use to create high-quality professional animations, but it can make rough animations quickly. So it's mainly a program used to make quick animations for the fun of animating. And not everyone has the money to buy flash :|

1- easytoon isn't professional in any way, therefore has a fraction of a chance of producing revenue unlike flash.
2- Flash is 20x quicker at doing what you say easytoon is used for. You just don't want to take the time to find out how to use flash. That's your fault.

The reason I explained in betweens is because you wanted to bring the subject of professional animators into this whole new argument with me.

My entire post explaining that shit can be summed up into me laughing at you and calling you stupid because you said that easytoon is a useful program, while at the same time calling it shit.

I lol'd :/

Everyone has their own style, if you like Easytoon. go for it. If you like flash, go for it. If you like both, masturbate.

I dislike easytoon because I have no actual artistic talent. Flash is ok, but I suffer from the same problem. Pivot's really the only option for someone like me who can't draw the first frame, let alone redraw the next ones. Maybe some day I'll get around to practising and then I can be a real animator :)
