Agreed, they all suck. I'm thinkin' Muse is about the only option.

Taylor Swift is being most great music person of the annual of previous. Am of much enjoying song of name "Fifteen". She am in saying "Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you, You're gonna believe them". Was much correct to me in my years of secondary education!

The Resistance sucked compared to Origin of Symmetry and even Black Holes and Revelations, with the exception of the Exogenesis trilogy but even that couldn't carry the whole album. If they don't pull their shit together for the next album then they're definitely past their prime.
Then again that's just because they've matured a lot as a band, and I always liked Muse best when Bellamy went all-out live, which he really doesn't do much anymore:

I know nobody really follows trance around here but Andy Blueman probably had the best year any trance musician could have had, with 5 remixes and an EP release, all 11 tracks getting ridiculous attention and every one of them being amazing.

What's up with this entire Dethklok hype around here? I hate to put myself in the line of fire, but I really can't see how anyone could enjoy that.

I really got into them after seeing them on tour with Mastodon. Some people like soul-pounding metal and breakdowns.
Iron and Wine's new CD was pretty good.
Mastodon's "Crack the Skye" takes the cake for me, though. "The Last Baron", "Oblivion", and "The Czar" are some of the greatest ****ing metal songs I've ever heard. So technical and eerie.

It's death metal performed by very technically skilled musicians who don't seem to take their own craft seriously through the project. The music somehow benefits from it
I don't like death metal by any means but I can tolerate Dethklok; that being said, I don't understand why someone would think they're the best artists of 2009.
