I can safely say that this guy has no idea what trance is. It's not even amusing how off-base he is about uplifting and symphonic trance, and uplifting trance is the same thing as epic trance, but with a focus on major tonality. That and none of the tracks fit the genre. Paul van Dyk as uplifting trance? Come on.

I started reading into downtempo stuff but stopped when he said ambient music probably ripped off of Pink Floyd. I'd rather read Maddox than this.

Since it means absolutely nothing, then, I'm calling it Brit House, because if anyone could make house (trance?) music this boring and monotonous, it's the British.

I lolled a little at this point. And since I have no idea what any of the stuff he talks about is either, I'm just going to appreciate the music and the time he spent compiling the site, whether he's right or not.

You'd be better off looking up those genres on Youtube and going from there, there's better examples of the trance he posted. Some of the ambient stuff is good, though, I suppose.

Quality is complete shit but I guess that's to be expected.

I would honestly hate to get into a conversation with this guy about techno music.

I lol'd at booty.
