It's incredible, and arguably the best AR in the game. Give it a bit of time, and throw an ACOG scope on it. Also, the easiest gun to get Fall Camo for.

Why would the do that? The deprives the game of just about all aiming skill.

Now I'm a pretty shitty aim with the 360 controller, but I was able to beat campaign on VETERAN in a matter of hours thanks to that. I suck at aiming with the 360.

I'm starting to warm up to the ACR. Last few games I joined were people rockin noob tubes and rangers/1887 akimbo

No it doesn't. It has some slight aim assist but not the snapping that is in the campaign.

It doesn't have the same auto aim as the campaign. It guides a little bit when you hover over an enemy, but thats it.

Oh, shit, I turned the snapping thing off from the start of playing the campaign.
I still think the aim assist is absolute shit, though. It's the only reason no-scoping/quick-scoping gets exploited. Double-tap Y, then scope in and it centres and locks. Granted, it's not as reliable as it was in CoD4, but this shit stills works.
