Ok look, I know most video gamers (Including you) are getting sick to the point of collapse of World War 2 games, but this WWII Game(Or should I say simulation?) looks like it will perfect almost everything in the world of Simulation(and possibly shooters). This game doesnt revolve around a single character/group, but as the entire operation as whole, the creators of this project seemed not to stride for constant action and things like points and health bars, but instead for the most virtually realistic experience possible. There are no HUDS: No ammo count, no nothing so you literally have to count your shots when you fire, there is no auto reload: you actually have to manually load your magazines and reload your weapons before, and during combat, you take realistic damage: so if you get shot in the kneecap or your foot, you may not die but your speed will be decreased, your weapon can actually take damage and will eventually become unusable, you dont get to pick your weapon other equipment, instead you simply get to pick a unit and depending on the purpose of that unit, you get a certain weapon. The creators also tried to actually make the game unbalanced(In most scenarios)... for example, the Germans may have there supply lines cut short by the French Resistance(Which are actually playable) while the Allies have a constant supply rate coming from the beach, so basically what will probably happen is many of the German soldiers will be either unarmed or out of ammo and get bumraped by the Allies(Halo players will probably be screaming at the devs for this, but it was meant to be this way). The AI in this looks like it is very advanced and will react very realistically. The unit count is so ****ing crazy, that if your a German in one of the Bunkers on the beach, once you see all the Allies landing you will probably be jacking off to the unbelievable sight that is on your ****ing moniter screen while mowing down rows and rows of players from all over the world until you get sniped, then you will start crying, but you will love every moment of your virtual, agonizing, neck wound that will cause you to bleed to death while the Machine gun feeder watches the blood trickle out of your neck screaming "OH MY MOTHER ****ING GOD, THIS GAME IS GODLIKE!!!!!" while afterwards, have his legs ripped off with gore everywhere from an accurately aimed Arty round which was spotted by a 9 year old boy in ****ing Italy with his radio pack assigned to him for having a microphone headset, THAT..... is how epic this game will be. And too bad it probably wont be out for another year or two. Check the website for many, many, more details that I am too lazy to list right now at this link http://www.1944game.com/, be sure to check all the FAQ's provided by the devs because you will scream with glee with all the features that will be availabe in the game.

I play games for fun, not simulation. World War 2 is not something I want to experience. But maybe it will wow me. You never know.

Sounds cool, but what do you mean by simulation. Is it coming out for a game system, for the PC, I don't know what that means...

It comes out for the PC, check the website( There is no way a console could run this). What I mean by Simulation is that the game will try to make a very lifelike experience, there wont be magical health canteens to give you 50 hp points or some shit like that. PC is computer btw.

The idea sounds absolutely amazing. But reliving WWII would be a bitch.
