.. Don't you think the fact that it's not in the poll section and doesn't have any polls attached means.. you know, that it's not a poll? People can ask questions without having the answers preset.

This is just like a poll with the only option as "other - please specify". It's based on opinion rather than fact, whereas a question would tend to be about what the facts are. It's open to multiple people. As far as I can see it is a poll, albeit a poorly constructed one.

Well I see it as a valid thread for the General discussion. And it'll stay this way.
