I'd say the physics were off, but it's surprisingly consistent. Tracing paper?

background on printing paper + tracing paper cells

That was shit, but I'm sure you already know that.

Traditional animation is hard, commendable effort. What's with the scrunching?

i used a paperclip to hold the pages of the last few frames together and somehow it made an enormous impact on the appearance of the background
gonna have to find a better way to hold cells together

The legs are exceptional. I feel you lost the arms on the loop though.

Zed. It's harder to animate like that than animate on pivot. Also, it doesn't have to be amazingly realistic.

I know. That's why I was so amazed at the quality of the legs.

Indeed It looks quite awesome.

Quote from AFRICAThat was shit, but I'm sure you already know that.
Your an asshole, but I'm sure you already know that.
Wow nice work Jawz. Traditional animation seems hard.

zed, you're right, the arms are awful. i was concentrating on the legs and forgot about the arms haha
i think it would actually be a lot faster to make a longer animation like this (especially with stick figures)
the only thing that takes a lot of time is setting up the workspace and figuring out how you're going to make it work, and drawing anything complicated. with stick figures there's nothing complicated to draw...
and every time you move to the next frame you have to rearrange all your paper, so that consumes a bit of time also
any suggestions for more simple tests to try out? thanks for the comments so far guys
