Ladies and gentlemen if you would please be so kind as to lend me your ears. The moment you all haven't been waiting for. I present to you something that's taken me longer then I should have had to get done.

The Other Side is a (recommended 16 player) King of the Hill map. I've spent roughly 25+ hours of nothing but tests, compiling, and actual design on this level. I can't honestly put this map into words very well, so I'll just let my screenshots do the talking.

I'd appreciate any comments and criticism, there's always room for improvement.

looks great, nice details and the difference in architecture for red and blu is nice. the one gripe i have about it is the location of the point. i had trouble finding it at the beginning, since i kinda expected it to be in the middle building. where it is now, it seems like it would just be a fight of who can spam the chokepoints more effectively. in my opinion, the point should be more open. this is just my idea, but i think you should scrap the side building all together, put the point on the roof of the central building, and make the roof more accessible for classes unable of advanced vertical movement. not to mention that the side building looks pretty bad compared to the rest of the map. also, some ambient sounds would be nice, as well as some lights above the area in which you spawn. looks great though, wish i had the patience to map.

EDIT: i just found the stalkers in the window, lol

I was considering the lights above the place you spawn but then I felt it was bright enough, eh. I'll think about it.

On other sites I'm getting the same thing with the choke points on the cap, I did have a massive hole in the roof but Miniman said to remove it so compiling wouldn't be a bitch. I like your idea of just moving the cap point up onto the central building, I'm really considering that.

And try and rocket jump into the window, I dare you.

Oh shit. I was thinking you made a map of Hank Hill's house. This map's pretty kickass, though. I could never do anything like that.

Revision update
I got a little bit done with the map, revised the main cap point and such. Read the changelog for the full details.
Also new screenshots.
