eehhhhhhhh

Can't pick up any bodies WHAT THE **** WHY
Stealth my ass half the videos of him are getting spotted and running away
Who the hell can tell if you can be seen or not if there is no damn light indicator thingie
Controls are all wtf, probably could get used to it though.
Either crouch sneak and go slow or run make noise and go fast-WHY ARE THESE THE ONLY 2 OPTIONS
**** action i wanna move like a damn ghost
jump "a", drop one of the "L"'- THIS MAKES NO SENSE also you cant jump just over selected objects

Based on the demo anyways, probably just gonna rent it. Seems like they tried to revamp something that needs no revamping, only played chaos theory so no idea how the new ones are.

WHY DAMMIT WHY I WAS SO ****ING EXITED

I loved the demo.
I too wish you could pick up bodies, but it seems to me like everyone knows he is coming most of the time now, so hiding them isn't really necessary I guess.
This game is more action based than the predecessors, but based of the demo it is still heavily stealth based too.
The screen turns black and white when you're in the dark. Furthermore, I think it is cool that you can't tell how dark it is from a light indicator, as you'll have to judge it yourself then.
I had no problems with the controls, really.
What do you mean? Which other options than walking, crouching and running should you have? The only one I can think of is prone, but it doesn't really bother me that it's not included.
You can move like a ghost. And you can use the action to further your ghost moving. For example you can allow someone to spot you, so you get that white silhouette, and then move around behind them.

I think it's cool that they revamp the gameplay a little. While I would have loved another game just like the others, I like that they try to develop as well.

I'm so ****ing excited.

It is because its so action based that it doesn't matter where you leave the bodies, which annoys me. I didn't even notice the black and white, because at some points it looked like I was completely hidden a corner and I would get spotted. It would be cool if done right, like a sharper contrast maybe.
Yeah like I said you'll probably get used to the controls, they make sense just not what I'm used to.
I mean that there are only 2 speeds, literally. You cant move ever so slowly or even ajust your speed at all, so your sound doesn't matter one bit anymore. Which was something I liked.
It's more like a ghost that kicks ass and can clear a room instantly, which is still pretty cool but goddamn I was so exited for a hardcore stealth game, you have no idea how much I love those.

I too love stealth games, and wish this would be less action based as well, I just don't want to give up on it just yet. Do you play it on the computer? I'm quite sure that I could adjust speed perfectly on the xbox.
I hope that even though this is more action based, I can still play it super stealthy if I want to. Like, you may not have to be stealthy, but as long as it is even an option, I will be.

I actually enjoyed the demo. It could have been worse, and ended up like Double Agent did. The main problem I have is how easy it was. But, I've come to accept that games will just get easier.

wat. Is my xbox broken or something? When he was crouching right? Cuz no matter how lightly I pressed it there was only 1 speed.
Maybe its because you couldn't sneak past anyone besides at the beginning, but it's still only the demo so who knows. Guess all we can do is wait and hope that I actually have some money to either buy it or rent it.

I think it's just because you're too good at video games, stop it you're making the rest of us look bad in front of our peeps.

Edit: not saying I didn't enjoy it, nah nah man it's a kickass game and I will be playing it either way. But just wished it was more stealthy so I can sneak past every single person and laugh at their attempt to find me.

To be honest I like what they've done to it. I've played the hell out of all of them and they've started to get old. If your a hardcore fan, but like the idea of action based gameplay, then get double agent. It has bits of both.

Of course I do agree about the whole light-dark contrast bit. I personally loved sneaking around in the dark. But what I didn't like is getting to nearly the end of the level and accidently tredding on the wrong thing, and everyone turns around and opens fire, killing me, with no way to defend myself or run away. So yeah I like the new gameplay mechanic.
