God DAMN is this game addicting. It's like Team Fortress 2 Lite. And I mean LITE, like, lighter than how vanilla TF2 was. And its awesome.

Four classes to choose from, I think it was 8(?) maps, and quite a handful of game modes.

Its really fast paced, and matches are all about ~10-15 minutes at most. Plus, you level up each match and it resets after every new map change. That way theres not Mr. Super Powerful in the game ruining the fun.

how are the controls?

Feels good, man

You get used to not having a crouch button, but otherwise you get used to having a special ability button thats class specific.
By default right mouse button is to fine aim, left ctrl is roll, left alt is to use your special ability (I always remap this to Q, however) and the rest are pretty standard controls.

The only downside is no dedicated servers just yet, but since its in beta, they haven't launched those just yet. And the lack of any graphics settings other then resolution and shadow quality.

Those screen shots make me wish my internet could handle online games.

The console versions aren't even done or are even on they're top priority, so no, no dirtiness here. They're just Swedish is all.

Plus, they've been getting a lot of info from the community, and a LOT of changes have already been made since the beta first came out. A company that actually listens to feedback from the community and makes logical changes/additions? Not many of those around.
