Recently Hollywood film makers have been making movies thats is about Greek Mythology like Percy Jackson and Clash of The Titan. It seems to me that all of sudden Hollywood got interested making movies about Greek gods and Goddesses. In my opinion they starting to make this type of movie because people suddenly interested in Greek mythology for example the most checked out book in my local library are the books of Iliad, Legend of Perseus and Adventure of Odysseus. moreover, gamers around the world is getting addicted in the ps3 #1 game God Of War 3. On the other hand, WAT U THINK?

More importantly though, I have no clue what the hell you're getting at. There are movies about greek mythology because people are interested in it? Or the other way around? So what? Where's the debate?

Anyway yeah it could be true, hollywood needs new ideas for movies and they might turn to the ton of old greek myths or hell they might even take some myths from other societies and use those. But 2 movies, your local library, and a game are not really that compelling evidence man. On the other hand who cares, so there's always that.

Every 2-3 years the cycle of interest in films change. Last cycle it was vampires, now it is greek gods and mythology. It's simple, really. In fact, the cycle is a well known thing in the industry. The reason is general interest changes, and they shift towards movies coming out. Or a certain type of movie will postpone until a cluster of them are released together to iniate interest in the genre, and then other movies will follow in their footsteps until General interest changes again and the movie industry cycles another 2-3 years as something else.

The last cycle went horribly wrong if it was vampires. I swear my brain was going to explode by the massive chatter of that stupid twighlight bullshit.
I read Percy Jackson before I saw the movie, they skipped all the best parts, I was pissed ._.
