The movements were nice But the particles need some more work. They need a bit more power to them, try and continue the hits momentum into the particles and ease it out. For the last hit though you needed to continue the trail particles all the way to the hit. Also try to avoid using size 2 brush for them, it doesn't look right when you change it back to 1.

It kinda looks like he dodges, runs up and hugs, then get choke-slammed and slide a little.
