Hey guys. I've been looking around and seen the forum a little more fun recently. So I want to contribute to that fun. I'm going to write a little story about a group of members from the forums who are ordered by the admins themselves to perform a secret mission. The story will be told from my perspective. And yes this idea did come from Devour's zombie story. So props to him for inspiring me.
Here's the story:
Word has been spreading throughout the city that a spam attack is about to happen. To be sure that these rumors are true, the admins and super mods are hiring the first ever assembled Stickpage defense team. Because of the city's reconstruction, it is currently at it's weakest point. And if an attack were to happen, not even the moderators will be able to stop it. The NTFs would be able to help, but they're already tasked for watching over the city from the inside. So ordered from the admins themselves, Mantha and Gavel are searching throughout the city looking for members who are not only capable of fighting off many 1-posted noobs. But also may have to face largely respected members of other websites, if that is the case.
Simply put, I'm writing a story with you members as the characters. I need 10 well-known members throughout the forum as the characters. Sorry NTFs and Mods, but you can't enter as main characters as according to the story. However if you want, I can make you have an appearance in the story as a side character. And the same goes for the rest as to the lesser-known members of the forums. However if you just joined, you will not be allowed in. If you would like to be a part of the story let me know. To enter, put your account name, and your type of personality and skills. If someone already claimed a skill that you want to have, then you'll have to come up with another. Sorry.
If you are a side character, then simply let me know you want to be in. I'll find a spot for you somewhere in the story. Do not give me a background story, you're only a side character. Your story is mine to create.
I'm not exactly sure how long this story will be, so we'll just have to wait and find out.
Main characters list is full. You can still however join as a side character.
MAIN CHARACTERS:
-Sacred
Is very good with aiming and snipers. Also wields a deagle in his pocket for close-ranged encounters. A confused and unhateful member who tries to keep Stickpage safe.
-Devour
Proficient with a medium caliber pistol, but prefers to use hunting knives for their speed, and because they don't make much sound when put into use. He's also trained himself to run very fast so he can get to place to place quickly and quietly. A funny guy who isn't angered easily. Tries not to piss other people off in turn, unless they deserve it. Actually enjoys the sunset or starry nights or things like that, has a twin brother, can kill the noobs involved with the "spam attack" without a second thought, but wouldn't want to kill a normal person if there was any other choice but to do so.
-Unknown, we all just call him The Dude.
Wields an AK-47 with deadly accuracy, also uses throwing knives, the accuracy is ten fold. He can be funny, serious, or a dick. If you annoy him, he'll call you out on it.
-Cosmo
His weapons are 2 silenced Beretta 92FS's, and he's damn good with them. He is trained in the art of killing you without ever ****ing knowing he was there, unless he wanted to play with you a little first then you wish he just killed your ass 2 miles back when he first started to follow you. He is known to smoke a j after he kills, or before, and also during. He really didn't want to be selected for this mission but he was promised a big ol bag of weed (damn you gavel) and he cannot say no to that.
-Myself
Carries a BMG700 that fires .700 bullets.
-ScatMan
Heavy weapons guy. Mainly carries a chain gun around and a shotgun. Hailing from a Russian/American family, ScatMan was trained by his father to be a proud solider, although he also spent time studying electronic devices. As such, ScatMan is skilled in the art of the bullet, and also in that of electronic devices. Not the best English skills, but still gets the message through. Will occasionally shout in Russian, confusing most people. He weighs one-hundred fifty kilograms and stands at two meters tall.
-Tortuga.
Wielded in left hand, a thin rapier of sorts, in right hand a blow-back pistol. Very bold, views things in simple terms. Once he has made his mind, he does not change it.
-Blasphemer
Wields whatever he can find. Notorious for being an asshole. Is often the missing component to a group, however - making sure everything stays in order while completely blasting it OUT of order. A total ****ing tyrant.
-Dinomut
Wields a silenced flamethrower in one hand and a silenced chainsaw in the other. Can burn down an entire warehouse and chaisaw a thousand people to death without the guards hearing a single thing. An expert engineer, he crafted the silent flamethrower and chainsaw combo with the intent of surprising the enemy in large numbers and dispatching them all at once to avoid an extended stealth mission. This however proved to be ineffective and he hit a roadblock when trying to create silenced flames as the brightness of burning bodies was drawing too much attention. He eventually used it simply to surprise the enemy in a quick head on charge and take advantage of the fact that nobody had any idea where he was in the confusion of a burning building. From there he'd use his chainsaw to silently destroy each and every soldier. He wears a fireproof suit in order to protect himself from his own flames. He's been known to utter awesome Sean Connery caliber one-liners after each mission.
-Oblivion EX
Tall stature, squared jaw. Usually silent. Likes to wield weapons such as a Halberd, and keeps a Morning Star by his side in case he has to crack some skulls. Loves him some cigars. If pissed off you better run like **** or else your legs will end up in a tree whilst your head has been smashed into the concrete. Not much is known from where he came, The best anyone can guess is that it was hellish and torturous, and left him with many physical and mental scars. (one of the mental scars is the lack of talking. he will say a few things now and then Including "**** off," "move," "ugh," and "ah shit", but most of the time, unless in hectic situations, these are almost inaudible)

STORY:
PROLOGUE
I woke up to yet another ordinary day. Opening the blinds I looked out at our town of Stickpage. Full of life and imagination, it always put a smile on my face when I looked out at it from my second story window. Hopping out of bed and throwing my clothes on, I threw myself down the stairs to eat some breakfast. I poured my self some Sticko's cereal and ate away at the good flavor. Yet another care-free day of living in the small town of creativity. Stickpage used to be different believe it or not. We used to have a building we called the Portal, where many people would go in with their creations and show them to the public. However many thought this useless as they could simply share the creations as their own without the process of having papers to fill. And the entire city itself has just been refurbished. It looks much cleaner than ever. However, many are still getting used to the new city. So it will take some time for us to completely cope with the new town. All in all however, today would just be another ordinary day in Stickpage. Or at least, that's what I thought...
CHAPTER 1
I heard a knock come from my door. I put my spoon down and walked to the door. Unlocking and opening it, I found Mantha standing at my doorstep. After standing there for a second or two, I put a cheery face on and slightly waved.
"Oh hey Mantha." I said. I always treated Mantha as a friend to me, I never found out though if she thought the same back. Her serious face however made me lower my hand. I didn't know if maybe I had done something wrong. Maybe her recent promotion to super mod came with a requirement to be more formal towards her. Before I could ask what she wanted, she began speaking.
"Sacred, you're needed at the Bat Cave." I grew confused and felt deceived.
"The bat cave?" I asked. The bat cave was the meeting place for all the higher-ups (besides the NTFs of course). Although everyone knew about the bat cave, no one knows where it's located. So when Mantha brought this up to me, I felt a little unbalanced.
"Yes." Mantha said, "You've been called upon by the admins. Now let's get going." She turned around and started walking. She turned back around when she realized I wasn't following.
"Are you coming?" she said.
"Can I at least finished my breakfast first?" Mantha sighed but let me finish quickly. After about a minute I came running out of the house to Mantha's side.
"So..." I said, "Where exactly is the bat cave?"
"I'm not obligated to tell you." she said.
"But, we're going there anyway right?" I said, "So why not tell me? I'll just find out when we get there."
"No you won't." replied Mantha. I grew confused at that moment. But then I saw Mantha pull something out from her pocket. Next thing I knew I was unconscious. Everything was black for a bit, but then I felt the coldness of the ground below my face. I opened my eyes to see a dark cavern wall in front of my eyes. I pushed myself up from off the ground. Regaining my consciousness, I took a look around. I seemed to be in a well-lit cave. So much for knowing the location of the Bat Cave. A voice broke me away from my thoughts, however.
"Wake up." it said. I turned around to see the face of Gavel not too far from me. "Get your mind back in shape. You're needed."
"What exactly am I needed for?" I asked.
"Don't worry about it." he said, "Now head through those doors. Everything will be explained soon." He pointed towards a set of doors that had mysteriously popped up in the cavern wall. Before I could say anything else, Gavel had already walked away. I wasn't sure what for exactly. But as he asked, I walked through the set of doors. What I entered was a large hexagonal room. Looking from left to right, I saw different people who seemed to be getting suited up. When I closed the doors behind me, they all took a look at me, then went back to what they were doing.
"Um, can someone tell me exactly what's going on here?" I asked. Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder. Looking to my right I met eye to eye with a man. He put his hand out to shake.
"Hey there, I'm Devour." he said, "Nice to meet you." I shook hands with him.
"The name's Sacred." I said, "Can you tell me exactly what's going on?"
"Well my friend," Devour started, "You have been summoned by the admins. The reason for that I'm still not sure. All I know is, we need to get suited up."
"Why are we suiting up though?" I asked.
"That I'm not sure either." Devour said, "But if you look over there, you'll see a bunch of lockers with our names on them." He pointed towards one of the walls where a bunch of lockers stood. One of them had my name on it.
"The key to you locker is in your pocket." said Devour. I reached my hand into my pocket to find a key as he said. I went to my locker and opened it. Inside I found an AS50 sniper rifle. I picked it up and it almost made me lean over. Well of course the admins know about my sniping. They pretty much have info on anyone in town. I looked through the green scope that was attached. Looks like this thing has built in night vision. I also pulled out a Deagle. I guess it was for if things got too close.
"Damn!" Devour said as he walked over to me. "That is one badass sniper."
"Yeah it is." I said still overwhelmed by it's awesomeness. "By the way, who are the other guys?"
"Ah. Well see that guy with the sword?" he pointed at him. "That's Tortuga." I knew Tortuga, he was my neighbor after all.
"Now see that dude with the Berettas?" Devour said as he pointed to another, "That's Cosmo. He's really good at being silent when it comes to killing. He also smokes a ****load and really doesn't give a damn. I'm not exactly sure why he's still here."
However apparently Cosmo heard us, because he turned towards us and said, "The only reason why I'm here is because Gav promised a big bag of weed. So don't think I actually want to do this." He then turned back around looking at his Berettas.
"Yeah." Devour said, "Now see that guy over there with the chain gun?" I looked.
"That's ScatMan. He's the only guy that actually volunteered for this job. I'm not sure exactly how he found out about this. But either way, that chain gun looks kick ass." Indeed that chain gun did. "He also carries a shotgun too."
"What about that guy?" I pointed towards a man who stood at least 6'10. He was holding an axe in one hand and a flail in the other.
"Oh him? That's Oblivion." Devour said. The name suited him well. "He doesn't really talk much. So there's not much to say about him." If by not much he meant he didn't want to say anything. That guy looks like he can crack my skull with one punch!
"WORK DAMNIT!" a voice shouted. I looked over to see a guy slamming his pistol against the wall.
"Who's that?" I asked.
"Oh, that's Blasphemer. But we just call him MoD. He's an asshole." You don't say. "I'm not exactly sure why he was even chosen for this mission. Probably because of his short temper." All MoD seemed to have was an array of pistols.
"And that guy with the BMG700," Devour said, "That's Myself. He and that gun can probably blow a hole through an entire building."
I turned my head to see a man holding a chainsaw in one hand, and a flamethrower in the other. They seemed to be on but were not making much noise.
"What about him?" I asked.
"That's Dinomut. Apparently he's created a silenced chainsaw and flamethrower. I'm not sure how that's physically possible, but he's done it."
It seemed like I was introduced to everyone in the room. However I saw someone sitting in the back corner looking at a throwing knife.
"Who's that guy back there?" I asked.
"I'm not exactly sure." Devour said, "He never told us his name, so we kinda just call him the Dude." In his free hand he seemed to be holding an AK-47. "But from what he told us, his accuracy is deadly."
I took a look around at all the badasses that surrounded me in this room. I felt pretty surprised that I was included in the team. But I guess one hell of a sniper is good help
"Oh yeah," I said. "What about you Devour?"
"Me?" he said, "Oh well nothing special. I just carry around a STI .40 and a hunting knife. With weapons like these I can run extremely fast from one place to another." Yeah, that sure is nothing.
Just then, a large screen on the upper portion of the wall turned on.
CHAPTER 2
On the screen appeared Paperclip. Of the admins, Paperclip was more of the community representative. He was more in touch with us then the other admins.
"Perfect," he said, "You're all here. Then I believe it's now time to-"
"Hey Paperclip!" MoD shouted, "Why're we here?!"
"I was just getting to that..." Paperclip said annoyed, "You see, rumors have been going around Stickpage. Apparently people are saying that a spam attack is being planned at this very moment."
"Well is there?" ScatMan asked.
"We're not sure. That's why we've collected you all here. See the thing is-"
"Wait why're you getting us together?" MoD said blurting out again, "If you're not sure it's true then what're we supposed to do? Search the Earth?"
"If you'd shut up and let me talk," Paperclip continued, "I could tell you." Sighing he went back to what he was saying.
"See the thing is, at first we were just going to let the rumors die down overtime. But then something happened that made us think otherwise. It-"
"And what was it?" MoD blurted again.
"MoD if you interrupt me again, you will banned for life this time." Paperclip said now very angry. MoD shut his mouth.
"Ahem." Paperclip continued, "At first we didn't believe this to be true. However something recent made us think otherwise. If you guys haven't noticed, no new citizens have been entering the city."
"Isn't that a good thing?" Cosmo said, "They usually just fill space anyway."
"This is different than just no one coming to the forums anymore. The Registration building on the outskirts of town has been silent for quite a long time. We've phoned it a bunch but no one has been answering. And with the rumors going around, you never know."
"That's impossible." Dinomut said, "For the longest time no one has even really payed attention to our website. Why would we suddenly be under attack?"
"How about you take a good look around." Paper replied, "The city has just been rebuilt. At any moment of all it's at its weakest point. If a spam attack were to happen now, we'd be screwed completely." Everyone went silent, including me. He was right. Of anytime, now would be the best for an attack. We've heard the things other cities say about us. Calling us Dickpage and shit. But I never thought anyone was actually serious on hating our city. Hell we've never done anything to them. So why would they attack in the first place?
"Anyway like I said." Paper started again, "We're not exactly sure if these rumors are true or not. Or in fact if anything is wrong over in the registration building. And at times like these, you can never be too careful."
"So then, why us?" Tortuga asked.
"Well we took a look around the citizens, and we've decided that you 10 are the best suited for this type of mission. With your weapons training and skills, all of you should be able to take care of any trouble easily."
"What happens if we go there and there's a bunch of noobs who are raging from not being enabled into the town?" asked Myself.
"I highly doubt that." Paperclip said, "Now that you guys have been informed of the mission. It's time for you to get moving. The faster you get there, the better."
"How're we getting there?" I asked.
"You'll be transported by an undercover truck we provided." Paperclip said, "You'll be able to move subtly without being noticed by any noobs."
We arrived to the truck after being knocked out again. On the side of the truck, was sprayed, "Noob Killer."
Oh yeah, this is going to be completely undercover...
CHAPTER 3
The man spray-painting "Noob Killer" turned around.
"Well hey there partners." he said, "The name's RUiN. I will be your escort." Well, this is going to be an interesting trip.
"Up there is my partner in crime Floydyboy. You can call him Floyd though." We all looked up to another man in the turret of the truck. He waved and then continued to work on the gun.
"I thought this was supposed to be an undercover mission." Cosmo said.
"Define, 'Undercover'" replied RUiN.
"Not driving around a truck that gives away our mission to the enemy." Tortuga said.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm digging this guy." MoD said. He then hopped into the truck high-fiving RUiN on the way in. All of us followed seeing as how we had no choice anyway. There was enough room in the back for all of us to slide in. I was farthest on the inside sitting across from MoD. On my right sat Oblivion as the rest settled into their seats. RUiN climbed into his driver's seat and turned around towards us.
"Now all of you be ready. We're heading straight into enemy territory! The ride is going to be a little rough, and I'm sure none of us are going to make it back alive. But that's the price you pay for going into battle!" Doesn't he understand that this is only a surveillance mission? There's a tiny chance there's going to be any "enemy" there anyway. I'm sure we're just going to go over there to find a bunch of lazy asses who don't feel like picking up or fixing there phones.
By the time I finished my thoughts the truck had started up and RUiN had hit the gas pedal. I took a look out the window because I wasn't sure where we even were yet. However it just seemed like we were in the back part of the city. I sat back onto the wall behind me and gripped my sniper. It's still hard to believe I'm on this mission. Hell it's hard to believe that this mission is even happening. This mission itself is a little weird. I mean, they grouped together the most powerful people of Stickpage, just to go make sure that the registration building is fine? Even if there were just a bunch of noobs there, they could've easily sent 1 or 2 NTFs over to calm things down. So what's this all about? There's definitely more to this mission then they're telling us. But I'm already heading out, so why worry? I guess we'll just have to see exactly what's waiting for me. So to pass the time I decided to talk with someone. Seeing how he sat next to me, I said "What's up." to Oblivion. He didn't say anything back. Nor did he even make any movement to acknowledge that he heard me. But I know he did.
"So," I started, "How's that axe and flail of yours? Are you any good with them?" He turned his head slowly and gave me a stare.
"It's a Halberd and a Morning Star." he said, his voice deep and frightening.
"Excuse me?" I said.
"The axe is called a Halberd. And the flail is called a Morning Star."
"Um, okay?" He turned around and looked back ahead of himself. Well, I guess that conversation failed to develop well. I decided not to speak the rest of the way to make things less awkward.
CHAPTER 4
For the first half of the ride no one spoke to each other all that much. It was really awkward. Two people spoke every now and then but it was ended quickly. Eventually however Cosmo spoke up.
"So what do you guys think is over at the registration building?" he said.
"I bet you it's probably nothing." Tortuga replied.
"There needs to be something," said ScatMan in his russian accent, "Why else would the admins send us?"
"They told us exactly why," Devour spoke up, "It's because rumors are spreading and they're really skeptical. So they need someone to send in."
"By why us?" I asked, "Why not send a mod or something?"
"Stickpage just got rebuilt, " Devour said, "Pretty much all the higher-ups are busy keeping peace among the streets. And hell, there are some things we can do that even the mods can't compete with."
"That's true." I said. I suppose he's right. There's nothing wrong or suspicious with this mission. I guess the only thing I'm confused about is why pick me? All I have is good sniping abilities. Hell give anyone a really good sniper and you can say they're good. So why me? Man, I'm worrying too much. I'm already on this mission, so why bother questioning it? Just go to the empty registration bui

You better actually follow through with these. These are awesome to both write about and read about. :D
Devour
-Proficient with a medium caliber pistol, but prefers to use hunting knives for their speed, and because they don't make much sound when put into use. He's also trained himself to run very fast so he can get to place to place quickly and quietly.
A funny guy who isn't angered easily. Tries not to piss other people off in turn, unless they deserve it.

Yes, which is exactly why I know to keep up with this. It's depressing to come back the next day to see nothing progressed.

Ok then I'll make a deal with you. Every update you make, I'll make a update for my story. And vice versa for you.
What say you

I say a deal's a deal my friend. Let it begin. However if you make any chapter before all my spots are filled then I can't post it. So don't try to pull anything there.

Name: Unknown, we all just call him The Dude.
Wields an AK-47 with deadly accuracy, also uses throwing knives, the accuracy is ten fold.
He can be funny, serious, or a dick. If you annoy him, he'll call you out on it.

I'll just be a side character. Any part at all will suit me, really, since I'm not well-known.
Sumfink
Seems to have ties to a great power outside SPP, though obscure within it. No weapon visible, but on rare occasions where he has to fight, he is seen wielding a large, blunt object that can never be glimpsed long enough to be identified... a lamp, perhaps? Shows respect to his enemies, avoids killing as much as possible, though he has no reservations about disarming/disabling. Can usually talk his way out of a bad situation. Sometimes refers to himself in the third person.

I'll put you in sumfink. But you're only a side character. So the entire background story you made won't be used, sorry.
But don't worry, you'll still make an appearance.

Cosmo:
His weapons are 2 silenced Beretta 92FS's, and he's damn good with them. He is trained in the art of killing you without ever ****ing knowing he was there, unless he wanted to play with you a little first then you wish he just killed your ass 2 miles back when he first started to follow you. He is known to smoke a j after he kills, or before, and also during.
He really didn't want to be selected for this mission but he was promised a big ol bag of weed (damn you gavel) and he cannot say no to that.
edit: also you 2 better keep to your deal, i want to see them written dammit

ScatMan
-He is heavy weapons guy. And this, is his weapon. Basically a spiced up chaingun, has a decent rate of fire. Also carries a shotgun, as depicted below.

Backstory: Hailing from a Russian/American family, ScatMan was trained by his father to be a proud solider, although he also spent time studying electronic devices. As such, ScatMan is skilled in the art of the bullet, and also in that of electronic devices. Not the best English skills, but still gets the message through. Will occasionally shout in Russian, confusing most people. He weighs one-hundred fifty kilograms and stands at two meters tall. Always hides his face behind his odd mask and helmet.
IMPORTANT EDIT: I will provide a photo for visual purposes. I think this fits pretty well.
