I'm using Teach Yourself Esperanto, which is an out of print book that was first printed in the 1960s. As such it's kind of hard to get a hold of a cheap copy, and there were only, I think, three on amazon that were under $20.

But yeah, I don't think you'll find any new books. The yellow pages just make it all that more exciting :D

Anyhow, back on topic, I've bookmarked this thread and when my exams are over I'll come back to it :)

Also, http://www.lernu.net is apparently pretty good, and it's where I went the first few times I tried and quite with Esperanto.
