I think I made a thread back when The Resistance came out but this is more or less a general thread for Muse, haven't seen one in a while

They're by far my favorite band, Matthew Bellamy is one of the best guitarists alive. He's been called the Hendrix of our generation, not for any technical skill but for his creativity in solos, riffs and guitar tones. He's also a kickass singer and a classically trained pianist, and they're one of the best live acts I've ever come across.

Virtually all of their songs offer something different, I really think anyone can find at least one Muse song they like.

Oh, I was referring the "silly songs" to songs from other bands. I haven't listened to more than 2 Muse songs before so I don't have much grounds to say the rest of their songs are silly. :o

Definitely one of the better bands thisgeneration has had to offer. Bellamy has a really unique sound. I can't see anybody disliking Muse, sure, don't listen to them, but you have to respect their music.

I have listened to exactly one Muse song, Starlight (might even be a cover) and that is enough to say they are awesome.

Personally, I do not like Muse all that much, but that is due to my musical preferences. But I do appreciate that they are a good band and they make good music within their genre.

I admire them technically but I wouldnt really listen to them.

But anybody who has the sack to use a ****ing guitar amp vocoder or something on vocals is of a master race.
