I have no idea how to do this kind of thing. Those cool little BB code functions? Spoilers, links to direct posts. Things like that. Any tutorials I missed? OR lovely people willing to tell me right now?

I keep meaning to add a section in the FAQ for it. I'll get there eventually. As far as I am aware the only thing which you can't do with the controls along the top is spoilers, which is

[SPOILER="[name of spoiler]"] spoiler [*/SPOILER]

and colours which are not in the pallet, which can be done by taking the [color] bit of the code and changing the word "[/color]black" to the combination of six letters and numbers which comes up when you select the colour you're looking for in flash, for example invistext in this layout is FAFAFA and invisitext in quotes is F2F6F8.

it's kind of self explanatory..
want a text bolded, wrap bold tags around the word.
want an image shown, image tags around the link
etc
i guess there's 'advanced' bbcoding, or as advanced as it gets, like having a picture with a link,
Image
or a link as text
Link to Thread

which if you see someone do, like me, you can just quote them and see the bbcode doings yourself.

oh and to link to a post, just copy the link from the number on the post, like mine is #4. Image

Well I never. You learn something new every day. Odds are he wouldn't have known what I meant if I had known and said that though.

I could've taken a guess. And yes I had known it was the flash colors.
