First let me say that this is not supposed to be a shameless plug. I am trying to do something that would be beneficial to both of us.

I come from a far away forum called Diplomunion, or Diplo, as well call it (Diplomunion doesn't have much of a ring to it). We used to be a forum based off of the game Warcraft III, but have since expanded to be a sort of tight-knit communty, much as it seems that this forum has done (prior to this recent reset. We understand your pain. We've moved forums three times and just got over a week-long host change).

The problem that we've had recently, however, is lack of new members within our community. I'm sure some of you are gamers and realize that Warcraft 3 is dead. I have used this site called SimilarSites to find your forum. We have used this before to find another site to try to encourage others to join our forum, but it didn't work out quite as well as we would have planned.

I will tell others from my forum to come and check out your forum, as I also encourage you to come visit ours. As with most forums, there are a few assholes. Do not let them deter you, the majority of us are great people with interests in a variety of things, and I encourage all of you to, if not post, as least look around the forum and see if you would enjoy it.

Your forum seems to be thriving more than stickpage, at least. I know how it feels to go around recruiting, so I can sympathize rather than telling you "no advertising". Good luck.
