You always show me this Dwarf Fortress game, but it is not a text-based game, so it doesn't count.
All official gear is now listed on the first post in this thread.

Titansteel and Elementium?
Obsidian plate mail and Dragonscale armors.
For light.leather armor you could do elven armor.
You could also add Orcish armor.
I think you should take out duranthium and add in some more fantasy armor types.
You say you're asking for fantasy nerds to help you out but the only fantasy armor you really have is scale and mithril.
Are you going to have mage's? They will need mage armor.
What about your plot, do you have a certain antagonist and group of villains that could wear their own armor type?
For example, if they were called "The Syndicate" you could give them armor such as Reinforced Syndicate Pauldrons.
Do some research. Actual metals like steel and iron are not fantasy materials.
You are making a fantasy game, you and Ghyodon have creative control, so get creative.

The game is about an Empire built around a religion called, "Mortal Faith." Magic is frowned upon, unless it is blessings or cursing those not of the faith. So there is no mages, since there is no classes. No elves in the game. And knowing this religion, wearing armor made by beings "not of the Faith" would earn yourself immediate execution by a passing Paladin. There is a group called, "The Market," based off of the idea of a Black Market. They are in power in a place called the Underground, which is beneath the Empire. Dragonscale is cool; I might even put dragons in the game, maybe. What about Orichcalcum? I don't know how to spell it. All of the armor types I listed are standard armor types. I'm making unique armor types later. Mostly armor and weapons and stuff that is based off of their religion, which again plays a major roll in the story.

That seems far too simple....
At least tell me the head of the religious organization is a vampire using their religion to capture and feed upon unsuspecting subjects when they capture them for chrimes against their "religion".
Just because the religion frowns upon magic means you will not add magic to the game? No group of rebels banding together to overthrow them?
Get creative.

The head of the religion is "The Creator" or God. The Emperor is the messiah who's purpose is to obviously bring salvation to them. This is where it gets complex. The Creator is busy trying to build the perfect world for all mortal beings to live, aka Heaven. He is so busy with this task, he isn't an active working God, and the messiah, the Emperor went back to the previous universe to help with a threat there. So the followers of the faith only have the Ascended Mortal: Apostles, angels, prophets, etc. all put into one. They are mortal beings with god like powers. So when this game takes place, the immediate leader of "The Faith" would be the Ascended Mortal of Faith aka The Highest Holy Prophet aka Sara. She is the head of the Cathedral and is basically a "god on Earth" so to speak. So opposing this religion would be the stupidest thing you could do, since gods are right there on the planet. Unlike the Greek gods of Mythology, these Ascended Mortal are not someone you want to fuck with. There are still people who oppose it: everyone who lives in the Underground, but most of the population follows it. Not many atheists when gods themselves are right there performing miracles and demanding worship to the Creator and the Messiah.
There is magic, just not the "standard magic" most people would be used to. No elemental spells or things like that. In order to perform specific "magic spells" you need to acquire blessings, scrolls, or have an exceptionally high Faith attribute.
If that is not creative, then I have lost hope in humanity.

That sounds like some God of War, Assassins Creed, Nazi, Roman kind of shit.
The only true fantasy you are playing with is the fact that God like beings are amongst the people.
Okay, if these God-like people cannot be fucked with what are you supposed to do in the game? Run around playing miracle child healing people?
If people are too pussy to create a rebel organization and use actual fucking magic who is going to try to bring a sword to one of these things?
:/

People do oppose the Empire. I'm just saying that most of the population is not stupid enough or is too scared to oppose it. I explained the Underground, where a whole city of people who oppose the Empire live, and the Market, who are in charge of the Underground. There are creatures and bandits in the game. It's not like these Ascended Mortal are going to spend their entire existence hunting down and destroying rebellions. That's the Paladins' job.
