Fair enough, i do think you need a mossberg shotgun, some kind of generic sawed off/double barrel full length coach, and atleeeeeeeeast an mp5 or an uzi in smgs, deff an m14 and a rem 700 for snipers. let me know if/when you guys need sounds!

Edit: oh good you have the mini-14 (which is a GREAT zombie gun, fits the bill and can be converted to full auto easily). also dont forget that not all 7.62mm rounds are the same. the ak47 uses a 7.62x39mm russian cartridge, while the scar-h uses a more common 7.62x54mm nato

good sprites capitan cook, some firearms are a bit to dark, make themless dark. I'll MIGHT start to doing something soon.

I'd rather them be too dark than too bright. it looks more genuine.

Now, for the next issue, should the guns have levels? For example, using and/or upgrading a gun will increase its level? This is so that when players find a new gun, they won't simply switch over for the sake of stats, they'll have to make the decision to ditch a gun they're comfortable with or get the new one which can be upgraded to be better.

Of course, this is also for the sake of grinding, IE, getting more gameplay out of the game instead of just speeding through.

my answear is yes, but i think using a weapon will not increse its level but it will increase the ability of the guy of using that type of weapon.
Also i think that if the guy removes some parts/upgrades from the weapon, he will decrease the level of that weapon.
it's a my opinion, the opinions from the others may be different.

that's a good idea; instead of the gun getting levels, it's the player using them. So every gun you find is level 1.

I can make stories for quests like, You have to find the local shooting range, there you will take the weapon, but for now you only have a bat,
i want to help cause the idea is actually very interesting
