Animating at a higher frame rate allows for a smoother animation.
You just have to be cautious about how fast your animation will be so it is vital to pay attention to how many frames you are using.

Whenever I would make sprites for games, I would always animate at about 30-40fps because it allows for smoother animation and looks nicer.

PL your animations are so solid!!! make something longer now, if you can that is :)
