Alright, I think this might as well be as good of a place for us all to discuss the changes we want to see happen or not happen. If either side has a point they would like to address or bring up about the other side they can bring it up here before we all mesh together. We can have stone monitor this thread for suggestions and what not. Just generally this is a place to discuss what to do next. Who wants to say something first?

He is the admin, and said he is practically the acting owner. I believe that means he will also be performing the uploading function for the main site now.

Yeah there's a lot more to this whole thing than just Stone being an admin now. This merger will include a bunch of stuff coming in the near future.

The StickPage Community. We aren't going to be "Fluidanims Members" or "StickPage Members who were here before the merge" anymore, we're just going to be the members of StickPage. StickPage is still going to be Stickpage. The only difference is a new Portal, new admins, and a lot of new members.

I think any promoted mods should be previous SPP members, since it is our site and we know the members. Wouldn't seem right having a bunch of new guys come in and take 'complete' control of everything.

I agree with this point but I would understand if some of the mods were also FA members.

I'm happy enough for the FA mod team to be instated here. They've just been made homeless after all. I just think the old SPP mod team should be here too, and we need to give the ex-mods their honourable member statuses and purple names.

I would like having a purple name finally. It has been many years and I have not gotten one.

I also think somebody should figure out a way to get rid of all the 0 post accounts if theres going to be a bunch of newcomers. I know there was already one new guy here whos name was already used by an inactive account.

Maybe a few, but it should start with SPP. Then add a few from FA that show they can do it to balance things out.

It's easily done for an admin. Paperclip did it before but it was undone when the forum reset.

We'll be setting up a thread that people can request their original usernames in. I just switched my name to just Jeff again. Having SL at the end felt weird. :(

We will definitely be taking measures to liberate any names currently being squatted on by inactive members.

Im going to be putting up a thread for 'questions, concerns, and suggestions' as well as a 'mod application.' I'm more than willing to instate capable and dedicated past SPP mods. Also, out there for any dedicated and capable member.

I've already been suggested Zed, and Index. I'm not sure how the members feel about those two, but I'd like to get to know them along with everyone else here.
