Posting on IRC isn't enough of a qualification for someone to presume they're actively helping the forum. 2-D is saying he hasn't even seen these guys post on the forums so why have they been chosen to moderate.

you kind of need to be on the forum in order to, y'know, moderate it. I agree that posting isn't necessary, but at the very least, visiting is.
