take ninja warrior for example, Im sure you may have heard of it. the obstacles there are insane, not many get by it, when someone fails in completing an obstacle they do so in a kind of way that you just must call epic. (ex. the blade platforms, ive seen people do triple backflips getting hit off those before inevitably falling into the water)
