I have to disagree, trails only enhance the speed of the way a sword moves and it's mostly for attacking. If trails were on every frame you wouldn't be able to see the thing or person actually using the weapon especially if there are multiple swords. Overall you really don't need trails to make a sword swing seem effective, you can use other methods aswell.

Know I KNOW that isn't true.
I've seen very poorly animated swords with trails, and I've seen amazingly animated swords with no trails at all.
I was talking about the movement and physics and choreography and such, I already get the trails part.

Hey Flash sorry i've still yet to turn in my collab part, everytime i try i can only get in a frame or two then i have two then i have to do work. all i have left are reactions but you know me, thats impossible for me to get right lol.
