blastth was on the ground but the comic never suggested that you were on the ground as well.

Comic doesn't suggest it. It suggests him firing an arrow at you and blood being spilled.

He said out of that position after I posted my comic. Which make his statement invalid. In the description of the comic all he says is he surprises you with an arrow. Never does it say you were taken out of the air.
