It's not necessarily a bad idea.
Now if we get an established portal and there is a section on it for pivot animations to be uploaded and viewed easily it would be neat and we would attract more animators.
The more pivot animators we attract who like our community and are encouraged to try flash animation in order to join our competitions and collabs that yield cash prizes means we will have an increase in productivity and animations released on the front page of StickaPage. Which will also result in more hits and popularity, which means better funding for larger and more complex competitions and collaborations. StickPage could become something very massive and extremely popular if half of our community didn't bash pivot animators and treat them like talentless whelps who are just clogging up bandwidth.
It isn't a bad idea to try to merge with some other websites. It's actually a very good idea.
At the same time though, we have a lot going on already to be thinking about another merge. It is something that could be considered after we have our portal up and everything on the right track. Stone hasn't even finished moving yet, and we don't have many new features at all. Our merge is just getting started, it is far too soon to be thinking about another one.
