Nice!.I loved how you colored the house. And it would be better if you colored the other Backgrounds

I really like your backgrounds they look very professional but the perspective in the house scene looks odd; if you direct your attention to the fence you can see that the farther pole is the same size or even bigger than the closer one, personally I think that the lamp doesn't fit with that fence or maybe is the big ball that connects it.
The life drawing is impressive, even though your main model's right leg looks stretched, I must confess that I like more the look of the two guys drawing.
I'm getting into the life drawing stuff too and the opportunity to go to an actual session must be great, I'm jealous, also you should seriously take a look at this book if you haven't http://es.scribd.com/doc/17518033/Force-Dynamic-Life-Drawing-for-Animators

HyMaster : I'll be painting these backgrounds over the next 2 months along with my animated fullbody minute-long short! :D
Nice review!
I actually have that book! I got it 3 years ago before I went to college! I skimmed through every page but haven't buckled down on the reading yet. It's a pretty interesting book.
There are always drawing and nude model sessions in studios around. If you live near a decently sized city you're sure to find some on the internet.
Thanks, I'll rework the house background. Now that you point it out the fence looks a little odd with the back side having the prominent ball on top. That shading is unfinished. I'm yet to take it in to photoshop and spruce it up.
The model one I can go back in and shrink that leg a tad, but I think it looks decently correct. It's kinda shitty but perfectly understandable that nude models cant have their picture taken.
Thanks again for being so awesomely helpful!

these are pretty nice man. everything has a sort of warped look to it. I'm not sure if this was intended, or you just need to make your lines straighter; but it gives it an interesting look none the less.

Thanks!
Yeah I usually just am not comfortable when a straight line just spans an area of a layout. I like to give my backgrounds a fish-eye lens effect to them because it just makes everything look more organic I guess.

These are all very good. My only suggestion is working on proper perspective. The same perspective has to apply to every object in the scene, and you've almost accomplished that with minor exceptions here and there.
This is less important, but try to make your lines more confident and less scratchy--something that can be done during the cleanup process. I'd also like to say I love your colour palette on the one titled "House". All the colours are consistent, having a slight desaturation. It almost reminds me of a Tim Burton cartoon.
Overall, these are excellent. I hope you decide to colour the rest of them! Keep it up, man :>
To successfully do this, all you need to do is bring your two horizon lines (assuming you're using 2 point perspective) closer together.

I usually try to pay as much attention to that as I can, bit I always fuck it up somewhere.

I erase more than half the lines I draw. i haven't really established a confident line yet. Once I paint these I expect the scratchiness to fade. :D
Overall, these are excellent. I hope you decide to colour the rest of them! Keep it up, man :> I'm glad you like them! Yeah these are all backgrounds in my short so they will be painted in photoshop. The house one still needs to have a once-over in photoshop for blending. I did that one entirely in flash.
To successfully do this, all you need to do is bring your two horizon lines (assuming you're using 2 point perspective) closer together. That's not really what I meant. I wanted to give a fish eye effect that warps and distorts straight lines to have a curve off of the canvas borders. I still try to draw normal perspective, I'm just aiming to make it more visually appealing.
Thanks for the awesome critique! I made some responses in bold. I'm animating all day today but tomorrow if all goes well I'll work on these some more and add some more.
