Proper Smoothing

hmm. brush smoothing. I use anything from 30 to 40 depending on how far away the sticks are.
But you should pick your own.
Make a couple of animations with different brush smoothings. and choose the one that fits you best. ;)

if its far, use 30 and if near, use 40, is that?

yeah, lower smoothing makes the strokes jagged and stuff. In a close up I would rather use line or higher smoothing, else the jaggs will be too noticable and look like shit.
