You need some contrast yo. Deepen the darks and show off the lights. Generally space is black, and your use of reddish purples is nice, but I think it just needs to be a lot darker. It would offer a good separation in the image from the earth to make the earth and tiny planet really pop out. I like how your strokes look!

It looks really nice (way better than anything I could do) but yeah i agree with Kitsune. Outer Space should be a lot darker cos i don't see the sun anywhere. other than that it looks really nice and would be great for say, the beginning of an animation in which it just shows that whatever is going on, it's gonna go down on Earth.

I've already been told I need a focal point to draw attention to something. I might edit this.

I think you used a bit too much of that red-violet. try mixing some more colors in. Overall you've succeeded in making a focal point, I think the color just needs some more time put in
