That looks really good. i couldn't draw something like that if i tried. regardless the character stands out thats always good and its really well drawn. i like the colors too. however i do think a little bit more detailed map would be great. i don't know make some clouds, or a flying object maybe some birds or bats >.> i never played asura's wrath so i don't really know about it but it must have clouds and flying animals yes? other than the low detail bg it looks good. Keep doing these. also i find some similarity with Nhaz's fan art of Master Yi. i don't know the muscles and stuff look alike. plus they are turned to the same side and stuff.

I suppose I definitely could have put some more detail into the background, but my main focus was the character itself. thanks man : )

thanks! you need to get a scanner man! the fact is, I did this drawing with pencil and paper, scanned it, and colored it with my mouse in flash.

just put your paper in, fiddle with the settings and go! every scanner works differently haha. good luck

I haven't done many drawings with just my tablet yet. the next one I do will probably be 100% tablet.

I dont know why but both you and nhazul draw some weird form between the abs and the pecs, when in reality the pecs sit right on top of them. I think you're trying to show the obliques but those are on both sides of the abs

does your scanner have an instruction manual? in any case its probably straight forward. when you do get it scanned in, try to outline it with the fountain pen tool. It'll take a bit to get used to but it's the best line you can do in flash without a mouse

ktsune, that IS the top part of the abs, what you're talking bout. I draw it as one solid piece sometimes, it's sort of a stylistic thing; you would see it like that from time to time in some animes like dragonball as well. It's ok not to have perfect anatomy every time, especially when you're shooting for a cartoon based style like my drawing clearly is. there are other parts of the body that I exaggerated too here. still, thanks for the input, it has been noted :)

this character does have prominent top abs but you made it like 1.5 the size it's seen in the game, and made some blocked form between them that doesn't reference anything.
In any case this character is based off of normal human beings like us, and just some brief realistic anatomy reference would help sell this a lot better. If you're going to exaggerate something you need to know what it looks like first or warpings and weird proportions are bound to happen.

Also I don't know if you counted but there are 8 ab muscles including the one that sinks into the pubic bone. it looks like there are 10 in your drawing. I don't know if you just wanted an extra pair of abs but even japanese cartoons have belly buttons and nipples. Even if you want this to be the craziest floppiest distorted japanese uguu kawaii monster, they need landmarks that ground them as based off of humans, as this character was.

This doesn't look bad or anything, I just think it needs some more development so your work isn't paired with people who just copy the anime style without knowing about realistic form (half of deviantart)

I can redline this for you if you want. :D haven't done that in a while!
