The community is somewhat more immature but there's nothing to complain about. I'll just adapt to the forum and hope after time FA becomes recognized as an equal to SP respectively.Although it is somewhat disappointing to know that less than 50% of this forum animate. A few other things i'm starting to dislike is how the admins are very aggressive to newcomers at times. I used to think Jeff was mean but raises a new gear entirely. Aswell as avatar's and signature's having alot less orginality. Not to mention the really outdated interface.

Beats having nothing i guess.

Define "immature".

Immature in a context that some users don't take into consideration the reactions of the things they post. I'm not referring to SP humour but the threads themselves. Basically not being mature enough to reflect on what the community will think of what you are about to contribute.

Well, this is the internet, nobody really has any reason to tiptoe around anyone. I think being able to post without worrying about how some kids on the internet might react to what you say is a sign of maturity, not immaturity.

I'd also argue it's pretty immature to assume you can make sweeping generalizations about a community you barely know, especially if it's through a comparison to one that you're familiar with. Not calling you immature but, come on. Maybe get to know us first.

I think SP is generally a step up in terms of maturity when compared to Fluidanims. I mean, you can't really argue that FA daycare kids thoroughly consider the repercussions of their post before posting. At least, most of the time (and definitely more than FA members), SP users have relevant input with the occasional circle jerk humor.

I like it here so far. Other than the absence of an awesome portal, I see no real reason to complain.

Wait, by admins, do you mean moderators?

its a forum, not a painting.

also about the immaturity, I dunno, as long as people aren't being asshole children a forum's maturity levels are fairly irrelevant. Some people just fuck around on this forum, some of them want to talk about meaningful content. I liked doing both.

Content when there is a debate, crap when not.

I enjoy contentless conversation even when there is a debate.

Fusion check out the 'will the earth end' debate. The stupidity there will blow you're mind.
Oh and on-topic like I said before. SPP is pretty decent.

@Kitsune

I haven't been here for awhile so i'm open for people to sway my opinion etc. But to criticize everything i say just because i'm giving a somewhat negative impulse about the forum isn't really helping more trying to overwrite what i say. I was given and option on whether i like the forum or not and i chose the one i felt was appropriate. Unless your trying to return some helpful information i don't think quoting what i say is really necessary imo.

I want to weigh in!
First things first, obviously people from FA shouldn't be very happy. It's not like FluidAnims members never heard of StickPage. There was a reason why people wanted to be active there, instead of here. I'm kinda disappointed with Stone, but whatever, as long as there are some friendly people around I'm sure this forum will be fine. Just be nice guys, no one would have transferred if they thought they would never like it.
