My psp will not update and the mesage says:DADADADA

Did you try updating it with the official firmware instead of a custom firmware update?

Well I bought it used and last night I e-mailed him and he sayed that i have 3.40 OE and He also says that if uptated Ican't play games downloaded on my psp soooo... now what?
