Hey guys I started this thread 'cause there is something that I wanted to ask.
One day a friend of mine asked me, during a party, to play with him at table football. Since I've almost never played it (and it is well-known between all those who know me), I thought that playing with him, who instead is quite expert, I would have learned something. Said this, we started to play and the match ended 6-0 for him. Having lost, I come to know from him that since he did to me a "coat" I had to go under the table. At the beginning I refused but, having he called all the others, I was forced to do so. Not being happy for this, I called him an as***e, saying that such a thing like this isn't true. As an answer, he told me that forcing the people to go under the table in case of "coat" is an oral tradition born together with the game in Italian towns that is applied everywhere. I looked on internet and I asked to some of my friends, but I don't find anything in English and quite many of my friends don't know all this. Also, in Italian websites it is shown more like a costume than a truly tradition.
So now here is my question: does this costume exists where you live and do you think that it should exist?
P.S. for all those who want to say that I cannot accept the loss, I simply cannot play anymore with anyone since everybody wants to play with this rule and it's not quite funny to go under the table with everyone who laughs and points and make a video of this to put it on facebook or youtube, without considering that if I cannot play, I cannot train

Never heard of 'coat', but I live in Canada. I'm a bit out of the loop with that stuff.
I'm guessing that this is what we call 'foosball', and I've played a couple times. I've lost even more pitifully than that before. I've never had to go under the table or anything.

you're ashamed to go under a table?
If you're at a party, you shouldn't give a fuck. I know I wouldn't

The fact itself isn't important
infact what I hate most are those f****rs who promote the event on internet and with friends as a great shame and, since most of the people aren't quite intelligent.....

I haven't heard that particular rule before, but I'm willing to believe it. It's like if you get 7-balled in pool you have to run naked around the table.
