-In the metal genre the bands I've been particularly listening to lately are Protest The Hero, Isis, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, and Dream Theater. I'm kind of all over the place within that area.
-I listen to some other types of music, for instance I listen to Aphex Twin, Autechre, and Boards of Canada which are electronic type stuff.
-I listen to a small amount of hip-hop/rap, which is nearly always Odd Future.
-I also listen to a lot of various instrumental music.

chill shit liek nujabes (my favorite), uyama hiroto, blazo, a tribe called quest; sometimes I have ristorante mixtape on repeat forever. sometimes I listen to other hip-hop, mainly atmosphere, blue scholars, binary star, jurassic 5, nas, etc. Tribe is my favorite, though. the things I've liked to listen to for a longer time and still like are radiohead, nirvana, king crimson, and the presidents (which relate cause they've got guitars and shit). And then I like anime-related music, which you could call j-pop I guess, except I don't listen to any that isn't from an anime or related. A big part of listening to those is incurring the feelings and memories of watching the series/whatever it's from. (fuck you) Also, I like touhou musics even though I don't actually like touhou.

Soundgarden is probably my favorite band. Followed by Audioslave and Chris Cornell's solo albums.
