Reason for Joining: I want to make and use an RHG, as well as learn Flash
Favorite animation program: Flash I suppose :)

I'm Theta0 - I picked the name because I like Greek letters, and 0 is similar to the symbol for theta, Θ. I also end up doing a lot of math in development, so it fits a bit there too.

Because I do a lot of stuff, I consider myself a "jack of all trades" in video game development - I'm not amazing at any particular thing, but I work hard and I practice in many different areas. I've been wanting to learn Flash game development for years, as well as add 2d animation to my list of skills, and so I am trying to break into the workflow - so you can consider me to be a through and through beginner when it comes to animation right now .

As for what I am more confident in, I have been programming C# (and some C++) for around 3 1/2 years, and I have worked with several game engines and frameworks, I like to do sketch art (although mediocre), I've been using GIMP since I was in high school, I do some 3D modeling (with rigging, texturing, skinning, and animating - not good with the rendering stuff though), and currently I test video games professionally. My passion though, is game design (although I'm a pretty passionate person overall... haha).Oh yeah, I spent about a year doing some web stuff too, HTML5 and all that - I think I'm okay, but I'm not quite sure.

I am really interested in this community for a few reasons - firstly, I think the RHGs are a brilliant part of the site - and competition gets me motivated to actually work on stuff. Secondly - I have watched stick fights for over a decade now - and I would like to start to participate!

Hey theta()! Do you mind in collaborating in making a flash game? Welcome to SP dude! Do you use UDK?

Sounds fun! Depends on how much time you would need from me - but I am interested.

As for UDK, no - the ones I have used before are Unity 3D and a little Cryengine

(Although I really like to work in the XNA framework)
