Hey fellas. I use to animate on flash on a different computer than mine and the time has come for me to get my own copy. I checked, and it's expensive as shit. Any other alternatives like flash or a cheap copy/version of flash? Pllllleeeeaaassseee help! Thanks!

If you want to animate fullbodies or free art, EasyToon is a great little animation program.
If it's stickmen you wan to animate, Pivot or Stykz are probably the best free software you can find.
You can also get a 30 day trial of Flash from Adobe's website, if you're a student the price of the sw drops dramatically.

Oh.
lol, i was referring to flip books. they're good practice if you don't particularly like computer animation.
I use them.

*Doh* forgot to explain what it is- it's a free version of it that is actually legitimate, as far as i know there are just a few things that flash has his it doesn't But it hasn't stopped me. I can show you what it looks like and a flash user can compare it to the full buyable version.

portable versions of a program are watered down versions that have a substantially smaller file size than it normally would. you would still have key features, you would just be missing whatever originally made the file large (probably like export options or language packs)
