Lol... What? Do you mean it left you with in massive 'feel good' mood? I'm hoping that's what you meant, coz it's how I felt lol.

I also just noticed you think Cowboy Bebop's over rated. What problems did you have with the show, or did you think it just didn't live up to the hype? While I disagree with that opinion, I can definitely see why a fair few people would agree with you.

It meant I really liked Wolf Children. The fact that if I wasn't waiting for that SAO recap movie to buffer then I wouldn't have watched Wolf Children was what I was talking about with the superman metaphor. Yes I felt really good after watching. I'm planning on watching Summer Wars next which I heard was made by the same person. I'm really excited for it, but I shouldn't indulge myself too much in one day. I'm still experiencing the post-effects of watching a show that I really like (which is Wolf Children), and I plan to indulge this experience for as long as I can.

And I don't know Cowboy Bebop was just a little bit boring for me. I honestly finished it within a month because I had to force myself to watch the next episode. I only really got into it when I reached ep 22 I think, the one where there was a guy with a cowboy getup. I thought that episode was really funny. I do like the characters and each of their backstories though, but after watching an episode I just don't feel the "oh shit I wonder what'll happen next" feeling.

I'm pretty sure it's just taste that I didn't enjoy it that much tho.

Cowboy Bebop was totally action packed but paced well. I don't like pointless action, I want to feel high stakes because I am attached to the characters through development. There was practically a gun fight in every episode.

Yeah you're talking about Andy, the bounty hunter who Spike totally hated because they were so alike.

Hype? Hype isn't the right word.
Prestige!

Here's a quote from that fucking masterpiece. It's also relevant to a conversation I am having.
Do not fear death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light, but if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity...
You're post was perfectly timed.

Honesty, I think it's timeless. It's definitely going to be a show that I force my kids to watch.
While it might be a bit cliche, my favorite quote was the tiger-stripped cat story, it fit that situation so perfectly and it was some how so powerful while remaining so cool.

Yeah, Summer Wars is really good as well. Personally I preferred Wold Children, but that was mainly because I could relate to it a bit more being raised by a single mother and all that jazz, though I think Summer Wars is a tad bit prettier and when it does do action, it does action well.

I think one of my mates had a similar problem, he said the episodic nature of the show just didn't pull him in, which is a shame but understandable. While I really loved most of the stand alone episodes, I think the show shone brightest with those plot episodes; Ballad of fallen Angels, my god, get inside me.

That whole scene was genius.
Oh man, and that scene where Fey, Ed and Ein left. Leaving Spike and Jet speechless as they begin to manically scarf down hard boiled eggs, literally choking down the sadness and frustration. So real.
My favorite line from that show is something I actually took to heart and say all the time.
Whatever happens, happens.

Yeah I think the stand alone episodes were why I wasn't reeled in much. I did love the later part of the show though, and I really felt the feels when everyone left. And the intro song was sick too.

I think I should try to rewatch it in the distant future. If you guys enjoyed it that much then I should be missing something.

I wish I could get you mother fuckers to watch s-CRY-ed.
So that someone would have anything to say about that huge content filled post I made that went entirely without comment or discussion.

It really made me mad.

Please, if anything, for me.

1: It's a good show.
2: Made by the guy who did Bebop, Champloo and more. He has an insanely good track record.
3: It's more action focused but like Bebop and Champloo has lovable characters and development.
4: s-CRY-ed is SUPER stylish, the animation rocks out loud.
5: Fuck you.

I'll try watching some episodes this weekend. That being said, I will most certainly be watching Space Dandy, because it just looks hilarious.
