Haha it's gotten to the point where most of the fanbase just accepted it to be some marketing campaign for a pachinko machine...

I think it will probably be a Haruhi movie, probably a live action one, because of what shows up in their website, but I'm still hoping it will be a third season.

Haruhi Hunting is this promotional stunt the studio did. http://haruhi.com/
What they did, basically, is spread 707 pictures all over Japan and the internet. The fans were supposed to find each of them, take a photo/screenshot/whatever, then submit it in the website, where they will become frames of a music video. Just yesterday it was completed, but there really wasn't much that was revealed.

Also, the anime is called "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" which follows a light novel. I'd say it's worth watching, personally I like it. You can watch it by broadcast order or by chronological order. Watching it chronologically would make a lot more sense, but it doesn't really give the first season's ending that much "umph." There's also the dreaded Endless Eight that takes place in the second season. What it is, basically, is a series of eight episodes that tells the same story over and over. Like, they're all the same episodes except for a few minor detail changes like their clothes and stuff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Melancholy_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes for more info.

Other than that, it's alright. It has some fun characters, some maybe a little (or very) typical, but I really didn't mind. It's a high school romance so it can fiddle with your feels a bit. Haruhi is my personal best girl too, so that's a plus.

Just got current with the Tokyo Ghoul anime, and although I seriously hate how they're butchering the story like this, I really liked their portrayal of the gourmet,
I think it's the only thing they managed to do right

Youwish, I haven't watched the latest episode of Terror in Resonance yet.

Because I was too busy finishing up the manga 20th Century Boys.

And holy shit. I really don't think any manga I've read to this day and probably in the future stand in the same place as 20th Century Boys. Definitely my favorite manga now and probably for a long time.

Let me start off by saying that it isn't perfect by any means. Sometimes it can get ridiculous and confusing, but to be honest I've never had this much excitement for a long time wanting to know what happens next in a chapter before reading this. It's an amazing thriller manga series that I think anyone can appreciate.

I think everyone who's into anime and manga in general should read this. You might not love the genre, but it's a fun read. A really fun read.

That doesn't answer either of my questions
but I guess I'll go give it a look since now-

I don't want to spoil anything since it's a really plot-heavy manga. I'd rather you go in reading it with a blank slate.

Terror in Resonance is blowing my mind. It's playing it mystery/thriller elements perfectly and it builds tension beautifully, though I really hope they start to go in a more psychological direction, and I hope Lisa's involvement it explained sooner rather than later.

Terror in Resonance so far is the only anime that has not disappointed me yet this season, with maybe the exception of Glasslip and Barakamon. I for one am glad they didn't make the protagonists seem to overpowering.

20th Century Boys.

It's top two 'if you like this you may like...'s on MAL are Oyasumi Punpun and Monster. I have never been so conflicted in my life...

Strangely enough, not much this season has disappointed me, or at least everything has met the expectations that I had for it. Actually, the only thing so far that is letting me down is probably Rail Wars.

But I agree with you on the characters of Terror in Resonance, like they feel special and excel at what they do, but they're still very human.

This might be a bit soon, but for some reason I feel like this anime is like a less stylized Death Note, and I really like that.

It's probably closer to Monster than Oyasum Punpun.

It's not that the anime that I've seen so far are disappointing, it's just that there are moments where I feel underwhelmed. I feel that Terror in Resonance is the most consistent anime this season.

Ehh, I wouldn't really compare this with Death Note. Too many differences.
