View Profile I watched Ao Haru Ride. It's cute.
I concur. It really should have been 24 eps though, nothing was really wrapped up...

View Profile Apparently they're making an ova for it now, but I think another season is just what they need lol.

View Profile Yeah, another 12 eps is what I need, I don't really think they could fit a conclusion into a 20 min ova. I dunno, I just don't want it to end up like My Little Monster.

View Profile Why does anything in anime have to be CG?
Because drawing in a hand drawn cartoon is for losers.
I don't mind CGI when it's done right, but what's always weird is when they give CGI a choppy frame rate. If you have CGI, you might as well take advantage of it, rather than willingly dull it down and act like it isn't CGI.

Most anime is animated at 12 fps for normal scenes, if the cgi was all 24 or something while everything else was 12, it would look literally 2x as weird as it already does

View Profile Parasyte. All of my yes.
I mean the first ep felt a little strange seeing as they seemed to force some action into it, but I think the story is heading in a direction that I'll love. And Raptor, it's supposedly 24 eps. I'm on the hype train.

View Profile Nope. I was about to but then I heard they were making an anime out of it so I just waited.
In fact the only thing I know about Parasyte is that heaps of people hold it in very high regard, so I'm pretty excited.

not really olololol
ANYWAY. I was patiently sitting around, waiting for the Liar Game to conclude, when I noticed that Shinobu Kaitani apparently wrote another manga before this. I mean, I already knew it beforehand as a baseball manga and in my mind I was like "Fucking Eyeshield 21 all about teamwork and slice of life so boring" so I ignored it for the longest time, but man oh man I wish I didn't. One Outs is NOTHING like any sports manga. It's pretty much baseball with Shinobu's signature psychological style!
Nobody's talked about it in the past, so I thought I'd bring it up now. The manga is pretty much complete (obviously because Liar Game has been up for ages) and with only 168 Chapters, it's easy to get into and digest. One question that went through my mind is how does psychology work in baseball? I mean I can see it, but to go 168 chapters? That's like an entire Playoff. Maybe like Liar Game I thought, the matches are actually extraordinary with a certain set of conditions. Nope. They're all professional games. And all the technicalities are explained as a fruit of well-researched material. This manga is awesome and I'm surprised nobody has ever talked about it, not even as a recommendation from having read Liar Game.
Has anyone ever read it? I mean if you have, you'd have mentioned it right? I'm still reading it so someone join me so we can talk about it together.
