It wasn't really a remake, more like a directors cut
that being said, I didn't watch it since I didn't want to watch the series again so soon after seeing it the first time

Eh, it depends on how you want me to look at it. To be honest the story feels like a fanfic that was written by a 15yr old weeaboo, the animation varies from mediocre to cringey with it's one redeeming factor being the choreographed fights, the characters don't feel particularly human but there has been an effort to develop them so I respect that, the voice acting is still average but has gotten better, and the sound track is pretty decent.

But despite all that I find it to be fun. It's a nice way to kill 10-15 minute on a Friday after a long week and I don't think it should be taken to seriously. While I do think someone could argue that the whole series is just a fanfic or an ode to anime, I think it's closer to a cover band. It's not the real thing, but that's okay, it knows it, and we all know it, and that's a part of it's charm.


I doubt I'd ever recommend it to someone though.

The pacing of the latest Parasyte episode felt weird.

Oh and I came across this pretty awesome manga the other day, Boku no Hero Academia. It's extremely shounen. That being said, the ideas and setting are cool, it's full of action, the MC isn't overpowered and 2cool or weak and pathetic, the art is really good and fit the story very well, and both the story and the cast of characters are really colorful. It isn't perfect by any means, but so far I've enjoyed what it has to offer. Here's to hoping that it won't get axed, that'd be tragic because I have some very high hopes for this one.

There's like only five chapters out so it's a quick read, so I'd love to hear your opinions Drone, Jelly, Hewitt, and anybody else who's bored.

So I just finished the second season of RWBY. However my normal RWBY talk buddy GuardianTempest is not in a position where the 2 of us can chat about it. Anyone else been following the series up to today's episode?

[Spoiler=]I kinda agree but not so much that the episode was disappointing as certain parts were weird. Even with the earlier episodes this season like in episode 4 : spoiler alert(I guess) : when Ruby finds out Penny is a robot : spoiler end : like were we not supposed to know that last season. And I hate how they assured us that Adam was gonna be a villain next season. I knew it just like everyone else did I just hoped I was wrong. Plus I feel like they should have had more episodes this season not less. To many things I still think they should do before starting a new season.[/Spoiler]

It was a thought but the spoilers were mid sentence and a spoiler in the middle of that seemed weird to me

Like drone, I liked it right until the ending. There's so much questions left, and the ending is definitely rushed. Though, probably the best survival manga out there so props to it.

If we're only talking about the latest episode then I found it a bit boring, or to be kinda mono-toned.


So yeah, it wasn't emotionally gripping and even all the action was a bit of a let down. But that isn't really my biggest problem with it. I'm a tad annoyed that volume two has finished and I'm still being cock teased for a plot that doesn't seem to be coming any time soon.

The first volume had more episodes and shorter run lengths, the second season has less episodes and longer run lengths. There was more content in the second volume.

Ehhh, I dunno. If Battle Royale counts as survival, it's definitely better than Cage of Eden imo.
