I watch mecha occasionally, mostly just as time wasters though, I can't really get too into a mecha show. Really like gundam unicorn though, along with everyone else. Buddy complex is one of my guilty pleasures, and the world must never again speak of anything involved with the Aquarion series.

Speaking of Inou battle, I've made it a point to watch this scene at least once everyday (possible SPOILERS): https://puu.sh/dyv5S.webm

Hands down. BEST. OUTBREAK. EVER.
This is just one of the many things that made Nichijou amazing but this is the most memorable.
I have a lot of respect for Hatoko's VA because of this. Damn, that was so good. I even felt how frustrated her character was.
So good.

Maaan, I used to remember Voltes V being my first mecha anime lmao

but seriously though, still remembered watching Gundam 00, with it being the first to slap aliens down the Gundam universe.
I should restart watching FMP and Evangelion doe.

Forgot about that. Anyway add Code geass to the list. You're gonna love Lelouche and his strategies.

This may be my very favourite of all the threads on this site! It recommends some of the best manga like Tokyo Ghoul and Attack On Titan (Princess Mononoke is worth mentioning too as it was what sparked my addiction to anime!)

I mean the whole reason I started making animations was to one day create my own, which I have been working on since around when I started drawing manga regurlarly at about when I was 10.

Really glad there are some people here who appreciate the explosive creativity and exageration of any and all things in manga! As a great manga character was said, "Believe it!"

"great" being a relative term.
