No, it's just that there really isn't anything good about it. There aren't enough things I don't like in order for me to classify it as bad. It's just that some of the characters just seem bland so far and the setting isn't exactly unique. There isn't anything about it that impresses me in the slightest, so mediocre is just the best way I can put it. But I also only watched two eps so I could be completely talking out of my ass right now.
Idk if this is a spoiler or not but whatevs.
What bothers me the most is that there's supposedly some kind of romantic relationship between the MC and the android/cyborg/whatever, but the android seems to have a overly inane and childish personality. Not only that, she kind of looks like she's 12 years old or something. The fact that this relationship is going on with, what a 16 year old/15 year old, makes how seriously I'm going to take this series in question.
but the age of consent in Japan tho.
also, ah, I see what you mean. Idk, personally I feel the same way about plastic memories as I did about mikakunin de shinkoukei, which is that like, nothing is really happening and it's not exactly blowing the doors off with how interesting it is, but I still look forward to the next episode just to see it. They're both in the same category of like "good" time wasters. which is different from normal time wasters but is slightly below warranting recommendation

That's a really good list you got there for this season. Might want to add "Owari no Seraph" there, it's basically like AoT vampire version.

Wh... what do you mean by "AoT vampire version"?

Owari no Seraph is usually pretty highly seeded so I thought maybe it's worth a try, but I am yet to see any discussion about it thus far so I was hesitating. Thanks for the warning.

I've cringed like at least three times every episode so far, it's pretty like, not good

They feature a chapter of Seraph every now and then in the weekly shounen jump. I've tried reading a few, but they're really nothing special.

Once again, the fact that none of them are adults makes it hard to take the content seriously.

Well I pretty much like it, but it seems most people here don't. Maybe try giving the first two episodes a shot? But I'll warn you, the 2nd episode was so different from the 1st episode.

Yeah I'm not much into dropping shows. I only watch acclaimed/popular anime because I'm a casual like that and with Drone and Raptor saying it might not be worth my time, maybe I'll just go for something else.

Thanks for the recommendation though.

I'd take my opinion with a grain of salt since my impressions of Seraph are mostly cursory.

You should always watch something for yourself, but personally I think it's not very good

I mean I guess I can, but then again there are a lot of things that I can watch instead that are generally more well-liked and the risk of me not enjoying it wouldn't be too high.

I have quite a backlog and since I actually can't spend too long watching anime, I tend to be more picky with what I start to watch.

I understand how you feel. I hate it when I've already started watching something and just drop it at some point. Feels like I should finish it or something, anyway it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Kinda like how I dropped Houkago no Pleiades and Denpa Kyoshi this season.

Anyway, not sure if I'd already asked this but what do you guys think about Mikagura Gakuen and Triage X?

I've been trying to cut down on the amount of anime that I watch per week, so I avoided certain shows that I thought would be a waste of time. Triage X I avoided cause the art screamed fanservice imo and the plot of Mikagura Gakuen just didn't seem interesting enough. If they tend to be more than that, let me know so I can replace Punch Line in things I watch weekly.

you can replace punchline with literally anything else and it would be more worthwhile
