The anime adaptations of F/SN are all pretty awkward but the visual novel is pretty good. Heck, it even has smutty lesbian scenes.

Fate/Zero is one of my favorite shows.
1. It's not boring.
2. The animation blows my mind.
3. All characters are well-developed.

The light novel is just as good, except it makes you understand things more.

Does someone here knows madoka magica?. A friend told me to see it but I want to know what is it about, like a little summary of the plot or something.

Well it's said to show the dark side of magical girls. Kind of like Sailor Moon but with a lot of suffering.

Death note is the best anime ever. Both on art and plot. 'NOUGH SAID.

I would strongly recommend it to you, especially if your a fan of the magical girl genre. Its basically a group of young girls who are offered a deal. Any one wish granted, and in turn they are turned into magi and told to hunt 'witches'. Like Mantha said, there is a lot of suffering, some of that comes from each other, some from situations they face. But i felt that none of this suffering was over done or 'angsty'. And the 'darker view on magical girls' was extremely well done.

To be honest, with only 12 eps, you would be crazy not to watch it.

I have tried to read Fate/stay night like three times now but can never get too far without losing interest. I've read other visual novels but Fate just isn't my thing

A manga called Bakuman. It's about a couple of kids becoming manga artist and geting there manga turned into a anime. So boss!

i dunno, even though you technically don't need to know anything about it, it still wouldn't feel right. I felt left out af when it was airing, too, so I associate the series with negative feelings :(

Idk, I've started out with F/Z because a friend suggested it to me and I knew nothing about it. Still no regrets up to this day.

But hey, I've had negative feelings about series before, so I guess I kind of understand.
