Is that why your frontpage description is so generic? Or is it because you can't spoil anything with this series.

Both honestly.

Maybe, it takes more time than I'd usually like.

Go for it. It's not supposed to be just mine. People can add stuff on here if they want. They just have to post it here and I'll consider adding whatever.

And I'm sure. I haven't gotten to Monster yet since I'm debating between reading it and watching it and I'm finishing off the last of Adachi Mitsuru's works, but I'm thinking of just reading it at this point.

Having to read Monster after 20cb is weird. You can see his style for jigsaw puzzle plots and including characters with their own arcs spanning over several locations and mini plots. The difference is, 20cb really went EVERYWHERE across space AND time with the plot pieces with the sole intent of converging it on a single event later on. Outstretched at times. Monster's plots are more self-contained, and have no intention of directly tying everything together but rather act as ripples that send consequences down the line. There's progression. A journey. And with each step, the mystery gets wider, the characters gain and lose more. It's intriguing.

My only bother so far is that it shouldn't really be called Monster. I mean, its the point behind everything that's happening but the equally interesting sidearcs that build up the environment are only barely relevant. The author likes spinning tales around each character. Kinda like Naruto. I can't put my finger however yet, on what separates the two. Maybe later when I'm 3/4s of the way.

Which ones are you watching? I'm watching Joker Game, Diamond is Unbreakable, Mayoiga, Sakamoto Desu Ga, Ace Attorney, Kiznavier, Tanaka-kun, Flying Witch, Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, Boku no Hero Academia, and Re: Zero.

My favorite right now is also Diamond is Unbreakable, but I don't really count that one since I already read (and loved) the manga for it.
I guess my second favorite is probably Kiznavier, though it's pretty huge drop between this and DiU. Kiznavier is more of guilty pleasure to be honest, though so far it's fairly solid.
Re: Zero so far has been a pleasant surprise since in the beginning I got some bad NGNL vibes (which is NOT a compliment) but turned out to take more risks and departures from some typical tropes than I expected and did them well (so far), though it still is littered full with anime tropes.
Ace Attorney so far has been the most disappointing anime that I have seen the original content for. Everything else I've enjoyed to different extents, though I admit that Mayoiga is an extreme guilty pleasure and that Tanaka-kun and Flying Witch are lower down the lists.

The only one I haven't watched yet is Koutetsujou no Kabaneri which is getting high praise and is apparently badass. From what I can tell from the summaries and aesthetic design though, I don't think it's my type. But we'll see.

Isn't Boku no Hero Acamedia getting a lot of praise and hype? What about it?

Also, is it better to watch the 3 previous arc of Jojo before this one to get a grasp of what's going on? Or the stories are unrelated?
