So in preparation for White Album 2 I went and watched all of the original
and it was ASS
like, the plot was everywhere, characters didn't develop, everyone seemed to want the main guys dick for whatever reason, it was a mess
So I went into White Album 2 with low expectations, but from what they have so far, I'm really liking it :o
mostly that they decided to completely omit all the old characters and plot points
so I'll just wait and see how it goes

Out of any book/movie/manga/anime/Tv show, it was the only thing to ever make me cry. It may had have something to do with my daddy issues (I love saying that, probably because it confuses people about my gender), but it still made me cry.

What about Elfen Lied, anyone? Or angel beats?

Keep us updated on how it goes. A college, light-music drama/romance caught my attention, but on hearing how dodge the first season was I kinda backed away from it. But if it's decent and doesn't require any knowledge from the first season I might marathon it when its completed.

More anime like this need to be made. I mean if the people watching anime are ageing it just makes sense to make more mature content to keep them watching, plus they have money.

If you dropped it before ep 5 or 6 you really missed out, I think that's when the main plot starts to kick in. Then again, it just might not be your cup of tea.

Elfen Lied had a great concept but I feel like it was executed poorly, it felt like they were trying to hard to be dark and edgy, but my god some of those backgrounds were amazing. Angel Beats! just went no where... The first half was great and then it all just fell apart, threw in some melodrama, and forced a relationship that felt fake and made no sense. It really needed to be a 22 ep series, they had enough characters for it. But I dunno... It's been ages since I watch either.

I'll keep you guys posted about the Fall season anime as they go on,
I've kinda made it my mission to watch them all
I only recently started though, so I havent gotten to all of them, (the 48 or something anime released) but, so far,
Outbreak Company: Interesting, somewhat origional concept, really well animated, art is very nice and it's overall just fun to watch, I say go for it
Freezing Vibration: Waste of time, if you really want the full impact of the Freezing story, I suggest you read the manga
Strike the Blood: It's good for a watch, nothing much to really say here about that
White Album 2: Definitely going in the right direcion.... Which is as far away from WA1 as possible, I say watch
Hajime Ippo Rising: I don't really need to say anything about this
Log Horizon: BLATANTLY SWORD ART ONLINE, but it's not like, bad, so I dunno, if you're fine with dejavu, go for it. Hopefully they branch out into their own thing
Infinite Stratos 2: Yes
Golden Time: Yes, but you should read the manga as well as watch the anime, some of the feeling is lost in the transition, still really good thus far
Magi: The Kingdom of Magic: Yes, Magi series for all win
Diabolik Lovers: ehh...
Yowamushi Pedal: If you like bikes?
Kill La Kill: We already know how we feel about this
Little Busters ~Refrain~ : The people who made clannad and kanokon made this(you know what to do), watch the first season first though
I'll get to all the others when I get to them
There really havent been any real disappointments thus far, but it's only the first few episodes of really new anime, so it's to be expected

I, personally, thought that he started loving or needing angel because she had his heart. I loved angel beats because it actually made me feel something, unlike most anime.

I quite liked the ending of Code geass, especially because it didn't drag on. At first I did feel sad, because it ended, but it was took amazing of anime to feel sad about, if that makes sense.

If your interested in some anime that should punch you in the feels, I would recommend Clannad, Toradora, Wolf Children, Spice and Wold, Garden of Words, 5 Meters per Second, Bakuman, and AnoHana.
Or if your feeling more manly look into Rainbow, and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom.

It's worse than Fairy Tail, which is saying something.
