Body or Head doesnt matter. I switch between the two depending on the part of the animation im in. I might start it off head first, then when animating a flip or something i might switch to body first momentarily and when landing i might animate leg first. Just depends on the part of the animation im in.

id like to put head first then put teh body. :D

It really depends on the animation for me,When it's only movements I do head or body first , And when it's fight animations,I do the body first with the feet or arms so that i can easily follow the movements..

i animate the entire animation then i add the head
but when i draw i start wit the legs or sometimes the body

I do a pelvis dot first, then shove in the legs, after that torso, then come the arms, and after finishing the animation I add in the head.
And thats how I do it. :D
You'll probably feel more comfortable doing it in another style. Just try out all of them and you'll figure which one is the one for you.
